Dread Knight Stances

The Dread Knight has 3 stances available for use.

Armor of Darkness: This form allows a thick husk of darkness to surround every part of your body. While covered in shadows, you have greater mitigation and your attacks generate more hate.

- Grants 15% Mitigation
- Modifies hate by 40%
- Enables the constant effect: Weapon Shield: Adds 26% chance to block

This is the Dread Knights primary stance and is commonly referred to as the "defensive stance". The benefits of this stance far outweigh that of the other two stances unless you're not tanking. The Weapon shield effect enhances blocking, supporting the Dread Knights role as a "2-handed tank"

Ebon Blade: This form allows a dark aura to surround your weapon, increasing the damage you do.

- Adds 15% melee damage

This stance is typically used when the Dread Knight is performing an offensive role outside of tanking. It is commonly referred to as the "Offensive Stance".

Shadow Meld: This form allows you to become one with the shadows, increasing many areas of your damage evasion.

- Increases accuracy by 10%
- Adds 6% chance to Block
- Adds 6% chance to Parry
- Grants a 55% chance to add to Dreadful Countenance upon attacking
- Increases all resistances

A utility stance used for evasion, spell resistance, and for building Dreadful Countenance. This ability can be useful when you have to build Dreadful Countenance quickly.
